Onus on the streets, Mask yourself!!

Scared; Mourning for a close one's loss; Short on Money; Short on breath and utterly Disappointed!!

These are some of the constant emotions of every Indian right now.

Nature; the one who gives lives, fresh oxygen; itself can't breathe as of now.

The second Corona Virus Tsunami has not just hit India, but knocked us down hard.

The Healthcare infrastructure is being pushed far beyond its limits as thousand are dyeing daily.

The sad part is that many of the patients lives could have been saved; if India did not run in to short supply of essential and life giving health care infrastructure.

I am not blaming anyone; but surely things could have been managed a lot better.

Studies have shown, that wearing a mask is one of the most effective method to prevent the virus from entering the body.

Yet, some people are not wearing their mask; as if it is a compulsion that they need to fulfil with bare minimum.

It's as if they are taunting death and does not know the gravity of the chain reaction that they start unknowingly.

Many of us have lost someone we may know, who may or may not be close to us .

The truth is that it is extremely scary just to fathom 1 human loss.

Parents cannot bear their young ones taking their last breath in front of them, they are devastated.

Children could not even get to say a last goodbye to their parents when their elders leave for the holy abode.

Healthy adults are prone to the mercy of availability of life giving medical supplies.

Families torn apart, emotions running in all directions.

Not even A LAST GOODBYE, why shouldn't they cry their heart out.

Newly born parents were engulfed vicariously by the evils of the virus, without realizing that they would never be able to watch their new born play, admire their baby; leaving their partner broken and susceptible to turmoil.

It's chaos and bitter disappointment; honestly it gives me the jitters.

Oh, how I wish, Harry Potter's Cloak of Invisibility could be true ;

So that all of us could be saved from this menace of a pandemic, but the reality stands different.

Coronavirus has taken over the streets;

Yet our essential workers are fighting them off on every nook and cranny.

Some of the volunteers, sewak's and essential workers who had a bright future ahead, gave up their life by working with Covid patients without a care in the world, inspiring our Incredible India.

Oxygen Langar; Plasma donations; Import of concentrators are the new norms in the present times.

Some are spending fortunes by importing life giving machines without even blinking an eyelash.

Whatsapp and Facebook have never been used in such fashion, social media is actually helping people meet, arrange and help the needy.

People are taking it into their hands to help their friends, and acquaintances and not just their families.

I highly appreciate the doctors, nurses, lab technicians, hospital staff and other essential workers who are working tirelessly so that lives could be saved, and families could again smile.

Then there are some who hoard the medical supplies and practice black marketing.

Without realizing that 1 supply left to the one that needs is much more important than their momentary monetary gain.

It is we, the people of this country who are doing this.

Yes, the Onus lies on the government but on us too equally.

In these Times of sorrow, 100% of the people should be more empathetic and caring towards each other let alone to worry about Unfair Trade Practices by some.

Indeed, these are testing times; but the limit gets breached every day.

Some of us are lucky to have a job, while some struggle daily to put food on the table.

Yet, everyone still sleeps with food in their tummies.

Patience and Perseverance is what will get us through these gloomy dark times.

Patience for believing that, "This too shall pass." &,

Perseverance to live through the pain, heartbreak, and adversities that this menacing pandemic has brought over everyone. So take a bow fellow Indians, your perseverance is what has made India Incredible in these highly testing times and would hopefully continue to do so.

Lastly, I leave you all with a famous motivational gospel song: -
